I like trying places and I'm glad I gave this place a chance. We got the Southwest Steak Philly, G's Steak, Crab Fries, and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. Overall the Southwest Steak Philly was amazing! The Chocolate Chip Cookie was amazing! My brother can't stop talking about it. The G's Steak was ok, it was good but missing something. I had it the way it's on the menu, nothing extra or less because I wanted to try it how it was on the menu. The Crab Fries were just crinkle fries with Old Bay. I'm from Maryland so those would be just old bay fries and Crab Fries would have actual crab on them but again I'm from Maryland so it might just be a different thing here. I will say though the G SAUCE... Was what made the G's Steak and the Crab Fries delicious. I got some of the sauce on the side maybe next time I'll ask for it on the G's Steak. They do have an option for the fries to come with the sauce on them but I didn't choose that because again I wanted to try them how they come. Now as far as the service goes it was excellent! I'm really glad I wasn't talked to on the phone with an attitude and I was welcomed with a smile. I didn't sit and eat there because I was exhausted and it was a quick trip to Connecticut but I would definitely sit and eat there another time. Overall I would go back and I would recommend it to anyone who likes giving places a try.
Gs is the best, and G himself is down to earth dude who's very respectful and friendly. He made sure we enjoyed and we're all set and didn't need anything else. It's always a great vibe in there.
My husband and I have been coming here for years. These are the best homemade steaks and styles that just vibe together. We come all the way from Cromwell to get the BEST in CT. KELSHLA was so attentive, which is wonderful. JAY really cares about his customers. Stop by you wo t regret it. We promise.
So today was my first time. I got a Bacon Burger for me and Royal Hartford Burger for my Brother . Both are awesome burgers they had alot of flavor They are very juicy and big a little pricey but I didn't mind because it was definitely worth every cent. Only thing that made me mad was the fact that I been driving by this place for years and didn't stop sooner .THANKS FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE. See u soon.
Just flew into Bradley and searched for the best cheesesteak in Hartford and G's was first. It did not disappoint. I love good bread. Bread for me makes the cheesesteak. Absolutely great bread. No gristle in the steak and the cheese was very good (American.) I can definitely say this will be the normal when I fly into Hartford from now on. Great job G, keep up the good work! Your Grandmother would be proud!
From my personal experience I really think the place is nice meaning the space and clean wise. Food overall was good sandwiches and the cheese fries on point. A Lil bit greasy the bread but that's because it gets toasted at the flat top grill. Service was great very friendly and respectful and helpful also .
Immaculate pizza cheese steak. The staff are warm welcoming and very insightful with options and explaining the menu. CLEAN BATHROOM, ATMOSPHERE EXCELLENT
Hands down this place is phenomenal. Get yourself a delicious fresh cheese steak or grinder. Even wraps. Amazing customer service, and a great space. This place is dishing out delicious food in the city, a well worth drive when you have a craving or an amazing lunch spot . I can’t wait to come back for more!
